When her husband Kane (Oscar Isaac) goes missing during a top-secret military operation, biologist and Johns Hopkins professor Lena (Natalie Portman) is surprised when one day he just shows up at their home. Unable to tell her what happened or how he got there, Kane suddenly begins to bleed. He's taken to a military facility, but his prognosis doesn't look good. 

When Lena is asked to join a four-woman team led by Dr. Ventress (Jennifer Jason Leigh) and comprised of paramedic Anya Thorensen (Gina Rodriguez) anthropologist Cass Sheppard (Tuva Novotny) and physicist Josie Radek (Tessa Thompson) on a scientific expedition into an area that is known as "The Shimmer," she decides she has nothing to lose and possibly much to offer, so she agrees. What they find there is a lush and haunting terrain of mutated landscapes and creatures that present deadly creatures and shocking discoveries.

Meanwhile, along with his technologically savvy younger sister Shuri (Letitia Wright) and his guard Okoye (Danai Gurira), T'Challa must stop the evil Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) from using vibranium to take over the world. 

He gets help from American agent Everett K. Ross (Martin Freeman), but when a new challenger, Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), presents himself and proves he's of Wakandan background and royal blood, T'Challa must take on the new challenger.

Death Wish

In this modern retelling of the 1972 novel of the same name, surgeon Dr. Paul Kersey's (Bruce Willis) wife Lucy (Elisabeth Shue) and daughter Jordan (Camila Morrone) are brutally attacked during a home invasion while he's at work. Although Jordan survives, Lucy dies and Kersey feels like a failure due to his inability to protect them.

When the police don't seem to be putting much effort into tracking down the killers, Kersey decides to find every single man involved and hunt them down. His vigilantism begins to make headlines as his efforts also help other people from getting hurt by the same men.

Ana learns she is pregnant and tells Christian, but when he becomes angry, saying he had other plans than to start a family so soon in their married life, she's caught off guard. 

When Christian goes out of town on business, Jack (Eric Johnson) tries to kidnap Ana but when he fails, he kidnaps someone close to her and demands that Ana pay $5 million ransom. He stipulates she is not to let anyone know, including Christian, or he'll kill his victim.
